Alumni

The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice was established in 1991 with a commitment to the delivery of professionally based teaching programs and to dynamic policy-focused research. The School currently has approximately 1,000 students and a rapidly growing number of graduates in diverse areas of service.

The aim of the Alumni network is to provide a forum for graduates, students and staff of the School to socialise and work together.

With students and graduates all over Australia and in many different parts of the world, the alumni website will be the focal point for easy communication about professional activities, developments in criminal justice, invitations to guest speaker seminars and staff seminars, notices about conferences, and opportunities to maintain contact with academic staff.

The criminology alumni site will also provide opportunities for graduates to present at careers seminars, offer field placement positions for current students, participate in the University’s mentoring program and the University’s Workplace Contact List, as well as publish workplace research with the assistance of academic staff. The site will also provide links to numerous postgraduate study programs.
