Integrity and anti-corruption

Research

This program has been developed from a highly successful Emergent Program in the Key Centre which has already won three Linkage grants, including two with Transparency International. Those projects have sought to improve the measurement of corruption, to map the 'integrity systems' that counter corruption and the means of building ethics into individual agencies.

The program has helped produce Griffith based courses on ethics and governance which are likely to play a large part in international education and training. During the next four years, this program plans to internationalise its work in conjunction with the global integrity alliance centres - researching national integrity systems and agency integrity systems and doing a great deal of institutional research and consulting. The link to global integrity alliance and the United Nations University will help generate academic and financial support for such work that spans most other programs.
