  As a confederation of three research centres, all staff are employed through the relevant centres
  
  The Director of the Institute is Professor Charles Sampford who holds a joint appointment at Griffith University (where he is Foundation Dean and Professor of Law and Research Professor in Ethics) and QUT (where he is a Research Professor in Law).  His role is to provides strategic leadership across the activities of participating centres to make an internationally significant contribution to capacity building in the areas of institutional and community governance.
