Research Expertise

As the Convenor of the Governance Research Network, Professor Sampford is responsible for directing and coordinating the five research streams of the Governance Research Network which are located at Griffith University, Charles Sturt University and The Australian National University. These five streams cover:

• global governance
  
• Asia-Pacific regional governance mechanisms
  
• public sector governance
  
• corporate governance and regulation
  
• and the many and varied institutions of 'civil society'
  

Professor Sampford works together with Stream Leaders to achieve the eight key objectives of the Governance Research Network to enhance national and international governance structures.
