Len Dingwell Travelling Bursary
The Len Dingwell Travelling Bursary is available to research higher degree candidates enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The bursary commemorates Len Dingwell a graduate of the BA(ACS) a part-time program that gave people without formal university entry qualifications the opportunity to complete a degree. The bursary will support international travel to a library/archive/research centre for the purpose of undertaking work directly related to the candidate’s research project. It is expected that this travel will also allow students to build networks with experts in their field. In accordance with the donor’s, Mrs Sarah Dingwell, wishes this bursary is made available only to students. Staff who are PhD candidates are ineligible.
RHD candidates wishing to apply for the bursary should complete the form ‘Application for Griffith University Len Dingwell Travelling Bursary’ and submit it to the Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences by Friday, 27 March 2009.
