Partnerships and collaboration
Our membership, affiliates and adjuncts produce an extraordinary array of high quality work that engages in public debates about the meaning of culture, contestations over history, community, public space, and the role of academics as cultural workers: journals articles and books, exhibitions and commissions, present keynotes at academic conferences, participate in public events.
Under the centres’ Collaborative Alliance Model strategy, researchers are also able to provide a range of research related services - such as consultancy - to government, not for profit and corporate sectors.
We welcome opportunities to work with other research centres at Griffith as well as a growing number of tertiary and cultural institutions in Brisbane and beyond.
Within Griffith University, the Centre for Public Culture and Ideas has affiliations with Griffith University research centres working in the areas on 'social justice', and 'healthy communities' through engagement with the humanities and the creative arts.
Researchers in Centre for Public Culture and Ideas are well connected to national and international centres and networks.
