Paul Hodkinson public lecture

The Centre for Public Culture and Ideas at Griffith University in association with Brisbane's Institute of Modern Art is pleased to announce the first in a series of public talks around the topic of Urban Cultures.

On Thursday 20th November at 6pm, CPCI Visiting Fellow Dr Paul Hodkinson (University of Surrey, UK) will present a talk entitled 'Style as Subversion: Contrasting Interpretations of Goth (PDF 160K)'.

Dr Paul Hodkinson will also be presenting a talk at Griffith University Gold Coast Campus on Tuesday 25th November on the topic of 'My Space or Our Space: Space and Identity on Social Networking Sites' (PDF 584K).

'Creative Partnerships: Sustainable Solutions for Social Inclusion' conference

This conference will be held in partnership with Innovative Universities European Union Centre and aims to explore creative ways of forming collaborations that include Creative for Life researchers, government agencies, private and not for profit sector leaders.
