As a single mother of two young children, Jai-Leigh is using her scholarship to change her life and take on a career in psychology.
"Before having children I was a dental assistant, but the birth of my first child four years ago motivated me to make a change and pursue a career, not just a job.
"Receiving this scholarship has helped with the costs of day care for my children and has allowed me to meet the financial requirements of my study.
"I now aim to complete my honours and after graduation hope to one day work as a child psychologist. Scholarships like these give ordinary people the chance they need to become extraordinary!"
