Semester 1 intake

July-September
GUESTS applications for Semester 1 of the next year are received, data entered and assessed.
September-October
Students notified of application outcomes.
Secondary Schools are notified of the outcome of their student's applications.
December
Students enrol or are enrolled in approved courses.
February
GUESTS students attend orientation and commence study at university.
May
GUESTS sent a letter outlining "What happens next". This letter has enclosed an application form where GUESTS can select three programs that they are interested in gaining an 'Offer of Guaranteed Admission' to should they successfully complete their GUESTS course.
July-August
Successful GUESTS sent an official academic transcript.
September
Completed GUESTS apply at QTAC and list their 'Guaranteed entry' program among their preferences.
Students are sent a letter of 'Guaranteed entry' to Griffith University in one of their preferred programs.
GUESTS who do not successfully complete their course are sent a "Do not be discouraged" letter. These students do not receive an official transcript.
Secondary schools are sent notification of the outcomes for their students who participated in GUESTS.
December
OP scores released. Admissions officer goes onto the QTAC system and checks OPs against GUESTS preferences. Forced offers may be changed to higher preferences if the OPs meet the previous years cut-offs.
January
QTAC offers are released.

Semester 2 intake

April-May
GUESTS Applications for Semester 2 of the current year are received, data entered and assessed.
June

Students enrol or are enrolled in approved courses.
July
GUESTS Students attend orientation and commence study at University.
September
Students apply at QTAC and list their desired 'Guaranteed entry' Program among their preferences.
October
GUESTS sent a letter outlining "What happens next". This letter has enclosed an application form where GUESTS can select three programs that they are interested in gaining an 'Offer of Guaranteed Admission' to should they successfully complete their GUESTS course (already listed in their QTAC preferences).
December
