A prospective student handing over an application

The Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) processes applications for almost all Griffith University undergraduate programs.

Applicants seeking admission to programs at Griffith University's Gold Coast campus may apply via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Applicants who wish to include preferences for Griffith's other campuses (Nathan, Mt Gravatt, Logan and South Bank) should continue to apply via QTAC.

Griffith programs with additional or special entry criteria are detailed on the Meeting entry requirements page.

Current Year 12 Queensland and interstate applicants

If you are a current Year 12 student, you may apply using one of two methods:

  • Lodge an application via the QTAC Twelve-to-Tertiary online application service.
  • Applicants seeking admission to Griffith's Gold Coast programs may apply via the UAC Apply-by-Web service.

Non-Year 12 Australian applicants

All other applicants who are Australian or New Zealand citizens, holders of an Australian permanent residency or an Australian permanent humanitarian visa (including candidates for the Queensland External Senior Examination), apply using the following methods:

  • Lodge an application via the QTAC Apply-by-Web online application service.
  • Applicants seeking admission to Griffith's Gold Coast programs may apply via the UAC Apply-by-Web service.

Direct admissions

The University offers direct entry admission to some Griffith undergraduate programs. For further information, applicants should see our Direct admissions page.

Prospective International student

International applicants

International students are those who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens or who do not hold a visa giving permanent residence or permanent humanitarian status in Australia. Applicants should visit the Griffith International site for further information.

Important dates

To find out when you need to apply, please see our Important dates page.

Mid-year entry

For the mid-year entry round, the University offers a number of undergraduate programs all of which are Commonwealth-supported places. Please see our Mid-year admissions page for further information.
