Transfer from QIBT

How to apply

 A Student enquiring about credit

Students graduating from QIBT must complete the online credit transfer application for QIBT students form to ensure that your credit entitlement is transferred to your Griffith University degree program.

The application has full details of the information you will be required to provide. You are not required to submit your QIBT academic record or any course outline information.

QIBT students should complete the online credit transfer application upon completion of their QIBT Diploma and check their Griffith academic record by the commencement of week 1 to ensure credit transfer entitlement has been transferred.

QIBT students normally know their credit entitlement towards Griffith University programs upon enrolment at QIBT but may seek advice by emailing international-credit@griffith.edu.au.

The credit transfer policy allows for up to two-thirds credit towards a bachelors degree depending on the nature of the previous study, but notwithstanding the amount of credit awarded, a student is required to complete a minimum amount of study at Griffith University. Refer to the credit transfer policy for details.

Griffith students may enquire regarding their credit entitlement by contacting a credit advisor.

Credit awarded

Once your application has been processed you will be able to view a Transfer Credit Report or your Unofficial Transcript on the Griffith Portal.

Credit may be awarded as advanced standing, unspecified credit, specified credit or provisional credit. Refer to the credit transfer policy for descriptions of these terms.
