Griffith’s South Bank Campus, which encompasses the Queensland College of Art, Griffith Film School and the Queensland Conservatorium, is renowned for excellence in the creative and performing arts and is steadily building a reputation in postgraduate and executive education. Ideally located in Brisbane’s picturesque South Bank Parklands, the campus is only a 10-minute walk from the Brisbane CBD and is adjacent to the Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, the State Library, Museum, Performing Arts Complex and the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre. Students can access welfare, counselling and other support services and apply for residential accommodation at the Mt Gravatt and Nathan campuses.

Queensland College of Art

Offering the widest range of visual art programs in Australia, Queensland College of Art is one of Australia’s oldest visual arts and design colleges, and also one of the most advanced, with multimillion dollar facilities at South Bank. It features public exhibition spaces, cinema and conference facilities, a multimedia art gallery, artist residences and Australia’s most modern and versatile studios.

Griffith Film School

With undergraduate and postgraduate programs covering film, television, animation, multi-media, and games design, Griffith Film School is Australia’s largest film school with strong links to industry. Students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities including a motion capture rig, stop motion facilities, soundstage with a large green screen and a HD platform in TV and video production and post-production. The School brings together disciplines such as 2D and 3D animation and effects, film and television production, orchestral scoring, multimedia, digital game development and commercialisation, media, business and law.

Queensland Conservatorium

Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University is one of Australia's leading music schools, with a reputation for excellence across a range of specialisations. The Conservatorium houses a 600-seat theatre with the best acoustics in the southern hemisphere, a 200 seat recital hall, a 150-seat orchestral hall, the latest teaching facilities and one of Australia’s best music libraries.
